Answers to the twelve questions from yesterday’s quiz.

  1. Just one. Then it’s no longer empty.
  2. Both have four quarters.
  3. A half dollar. Remove ‘half,’ and it becomes a dollar.
  4. Eight. A penny and a quarter is 26 cents.
  5. The letter ‘e.’
  6. Your age.
  7. Because then it would be a foot.
  8. 51,005 people, because DEAD = 51,005 in hexadecimal.
  9. Take away the ‘s.’
  10. Nine.
  11. Lack of fit.
  12. They pay out the award as follows: 1 dollar the first week, 1/2 dollar the second week, 1/3 dollar the third week, and so on.
