Cinco de Math-o!

This year, we celebrate a mathematically significant Cinco de Mayo. Today’s date is 5/5/10, and 5 + 5 = 10. Cool, huh?

Here’s a number trick for today:

  1. To your age, add 7.
  2. Double the result.
  3. Subtract 4.
  4. Divide by 2.
  5. Subtract your age.

If you do the math correctly, you should get an answer that is especially relevant today.
